Today, there are quite a few mass produced fitted bands on the market, such ‘wish bone’ and v shape bands, that are designed to fit better than a conventional flat band; however, it is rare to find one that fits.

When a wedding ring is not fitted properly, usually the center stone collet will receive all the wear and tear, often weakening the structural integrity of your engagement ring. Creating a perfectly fitted wedding band will eliminate this problem.

We advise not purchasing a flat band and trying to slide it under your engagement ring as this will create excess wear and ultimately cause bigger issues down the track. If you have your heart set on a straight band an alternative solution is to laser tack the wedding ring and engagement ring together. This will stop the rings being able to move separately so they cannot wear against each other.
