PRINCESS CUT DIAMOND
This is probably the second most popular cut. Princess cut diamonds have beautiful brilliance and are very popular for engagement rings. Princess cut’s are traditionally square in shape. Consider that the colour grade of the diamond may be more visible in the corners of the stone. The length-to-width ratio will effect the look of the stone from above. This Ratio is shown in the diagram. 
For a traditional square Princess cut diamond the Length-to-width ratio should be between 1- 1.05. However if you would like a more rectangular shape for your design look for a length-to-width ratio of more than 1.10
