CUT

An ideal cut diamond is cut from rough to very precise and complex inter-related angles. This is based on the mathematical thesis of Marcel Towlkowsy.

The cut of a stone is one of the most important aspects of a diamond changing its appearance drastically and value of up to 40%.

An ideal cut diamond will appear to be larger and produce more sparkle and brilliance than an average cut diamond.

The diagram opposite shows how light will reflect and refract in different cut of diamond.
