There are many important factors to take into account when paying diamonds, but it really does come down to whether or not you like the stone. There are four main areas to take into account Colour, Clarity, Cut and Carat. These are called the 4 C’s. The prices of diamonds are dramatically affected by these factors. It is important to study these factors and work out which grading of diamond is most suitable for your specifications. I would advice not to go high in one area and low in another it is best to get an average of all the factors.

Independent Valuations

It is best to gain an independent valuation on items purchased over the value of $1500.
This can only be done by a certified valuer, and is a legal document. This will be needed to insure the item and will give you peace of mind.
